Hi, I'm Jed...

Welcome to makeSimple, and thank you for stopping by. My name is Jed Hanlin. I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with my wife and our two daughters. During the summer, we love spending our time outdoors, either exploring the woods or relaxing at our family property in Northeastern Washington.

I’ve been in the web design game since before the term “website” even entered the common vocabulary. Yes, I’m revealing my age a bit here, but I launched my first BBS (Bulletin Board System) at the ripe age of 13. Back in those days, users needed a modem to dial in directly to the ‘site,’ and only one person could be online at any given moment. It’s incredible to see how much has evolved since then!

Throughout adulthood I continued learning and creating with computers. Spending 1000’s of hours studying and executing different online marketing strategies. I went on to create hundreds of websites, multiple web and mobile applications, and various custom automations.

My goal with makeSimple (Yes, that’s how I spell it) is to provide small to medium-sized local businesses with the same caliber of digital marketing as the big guys.
